Who you calling a B*tch?

The feminine “ways” of a woman is soft and glorious…there’s nothing like a Lady. When God made woman, He made beauty that everyone looks at, even women. The body of a women has or had honor. Now, we dishonor ourselves and our worth -calling ourselves “Bitches” (a female dog). WHAT!?!? WHO YOU CALLING A BITCH?

For centuries, since Eve gave that fruit to Adam; women have been beaten, scorned, disrespected, and humiliated by men. Now, we are doing the same to ourselves.

I was listening in on a conversation between three young ladies and the talk was about Megan Thee Stallion’s song “B.I.T.C.H”. So, I went to the ole faithful Youtube and search for the song and was so disappointed. Not about the clothing or about the rump shaking…I use to be one of the best shakers back in the 90’s…lol. I mean I could put today’s twerkers to shame.

My disappointment came at the beginning…”I’d rather be a B.I.T.CH, cause that’s what you gone call me when I’m tripping anyway.” I hate it!!!! I am not taking a dig at Megan, but come on…….accepting degrading remarks as truth is garbage. I know she is making her money but can we make it without telling young ladies to accept anything. Megan did have some positive words within the song but it was over shadowed by the chorus.

Looking at the current generation, I am very confused and hurt. It seem as if it is popular to be a “Bad Bitch”, “$40 Bitch”, “Twerking for a four for $4 Bitch”! When did it become cool to be a Bitch? Back in the day, when someone call you a B…the first thing said was; “Who you calling a Bitch”? “I don’t play that!” Now, it’s cool. On all the reality shows (Black and White) being a B*tch is popular.

We are in an era when WOMEN are being paid equally to men and becoming the first female CEO/CFO’S. Lets not go backwards. I don’t want us to be seen as an object. We are more than twerking, sucking, f…ing, being loud, harsh, and boastful. We are gentle, loving, caring, inventors, creators, and innovators. We are the glue of the household, and the firm foundation of the World.

Never allow yourself to accept negative or degrading comments from ANYONE (PERIODT)…NEVER!!!

Quote from Maya Angelou:

Now you understand
Just why my head’s not bowed.
I don’t shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing,
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It’s in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need for my care.
’Cause I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

WHO ARE YOU CALLING A BITCH? NOT ME!!!
