Columbus Toy
I had the opportunity to interview an outstanding singer/songwriter that introduced me to a new genre of music; Country/Soul, Mr. Columbus Toy.
Columbus was born in Milwaukee, WI, but later relocated to Belzoni, MS; here is where he horned in on his love for music -developing his vocals into something unique.
During the first 20 years of his career, Columbus joined several groups (gospel music, barbershop quartet & concert music), which gave him opportunities to open for celebrity such as B. B. King and become a background singer for The Brain Mcknight.
Now, Columbus has had his stride with the help of Teresa Neal into a unfamiliar territory to develop the unique genre, “Country Soul”; a unique mixture of Country and Soul Blues Music.
Columbus Toy had to stepped out into this unfamiliar territory to enhance his already God given talents that will prove he is right where he should be -representing his grind. He has gathered a outstanding team with English Promotions LLC and on his way to the top.
