And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 4:2-4

Explain to #teamrepyogrind the vision of “Not By Bread Alone”?

Not By Bread Alone’s vision as a ministry is to be a voice to the
voiceless, and to cater the Good News of Jesus Christ to the ears, hearts
and lives, to those that Know God and Know of God. The means that we
choose to do this through, is through an artist based staff that are
active Creators of Music, which gives us the ability to not only cater to
music lovers but other artists. Not only do we want to provide a platform
for Local Independent Artists to be heard, but also, we want to stimulate
the faith of the artists, because we are the ones chosen to be teachers in
this modern society. It is important to us as artists ourselves, that we
are well equipped in the Truth of the Gospel, so that we can be effective
in the true ministry, which is the teaching and the delivery of the
message of Christ.

Do you feel the platform for Christian Lyricists are becoming more
recognized? Why/Why Not?

So, this is an interesting topic. First of all, we are called to be in
this world, not of it. We are called to Stand Out and Not Fit In. So with
that said, I do believe we have some Christian Artists that are on the
forefront of recognition lyrically, but I also believe that in our efforts
as Christian Emcees to be recognized as “Lyrical Geniuses” that we’ve lost
the meat of the scriptures. I am a firm believer that Christian Music of
any genre, should never be popular, and that we as Christian Artists are
more than entertainers, we are life changers. The bible clearly states
that faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes from the word of God, and
in that same chapter, it also states that if no one is preaching, how then
will someone ever hear to ignite their faith in the first place.

So to answer the question, I believe that the recognition we’re getting is
solely because the artists have relied more on the art than the giver of
the art, and if we didn’t aim to be men pleasers, than we would have
little to no recognition at all.

This topic is rather complex and it can go into many different
understandings, but I will leave it at that.

In what ways can; we as soldiers for God, assist you in this movement?

The best way to assist Not By Bread Alone Radio is to be senders. Send
listeners to Not By Bread Alone to hear what God is speaking through his
servants, and send artists that are willing to sow minimal dollars into a
ministry that actually cares about the result of their ministry, rather
than just showing people that they exist. We need people to see our value,
not only as a platform for great unheard independent music, but a place
where all of our own personal lives are challenged passed the status quo
to the next level of Christ like existence.

Word of Encouragement

I just want to encourage everyone to visit us @ www.faithministrymusic.com
daily, 24/7 – We are always playing something that will feed your soul,
that will stimulate your thought process. We as people sow daily into
things, businesses and avenues that can care less about us, but are not
willing to sow into something that is more beneficial for the society
around them. Don’t follow the trends, Go against the current of today’s
society. Stand out, be different, be bold, outlaw unrighteousness and
wickedness from your circumference, and be willing to give of yourself,
your time, talents and resources into a place that’s actually feeding you
something worthy to be consumed.
