Rapper Zee Ha Shaan is from Bangalore, India. We have been talking about his music for over a year now. He has the passion and drive to be great Hip Hop. His music is English based Hip Hop with a Hindi flare, “We Rep Hip Hop in India”. Here is our interview.
If you think it’s difficulty to make it in the music industry in the US…think about how hard it’s is for Artists other countries.
How long have you been in the music industry?
Zee: I have been into music since the age of 14
How does your country feel about Hip Hop?
Zee: Hip Hop has always been awesome in India, but it’s spreading very quick now
Do you feel an Artist from India will be taken serious in the Hip Hop Arena?
Zee: Yes, of course. We have mad skillz here and we just want to be heard. Hip Hop is music with expression from around the World and India will be heard!
Who are your great inspirations?
Zee: 2Pac and Lil Wayne
What are some misconceptions of India Artists?
Zee: They into Hindi more than English. Here they copy others artist’s styles more than developing their own flow.
Tell us about your album.
Zee: My Album is based on 5 songs; it’s will be an English Hindi Fusion.

How hard is it to get discovered in the music industry?
Zee: To start your music up, you need money and support. Getting help from people which is not easy in my country because our film industry and music industry doesn’t care about New comers.
Artists like us only… 1 in billions make it. Not by own strength or talents but with the help of money.
