The event and its purpose:
The Support Our Own Expo Pt 2: Best of Baltimore is a networking/vending event with
multiple showcases from the strongest artists in Baltimore. It will be located at Security Square
Mall so that those without transportation will be able to attend the event with relative ease. It
also serves as the second installment of two prior events: The Support Our Own Expo Pt1
(attended by 200 in a space that accommodated 225 – 270 people at the time) and Chance
(attended by 53 in a space that held 75 people) at The Factory DMV.
The primary purpose of this event is to create a relaxed environment for both newcomers
and veterans of all industries to network with one another and potential clients. The secondary
purpose is to fashion a platform that rewards hard working artists with the exposure that they
so rightfully deserve after putting their blood, sweat, and tears into their respective crafts.
