The Movement of your hand…

ZEKE ON THE BEAT a.k.a Nick Thompson

Whether you call him Zeke on the beat, DJ Long Stroke, or just Nick you can find him at a hookah lounge in Adams Morgan with his guitar; playing and singing his own brand of soul filled R&B and Hip hop; at the entrance of Blues Alley in Washington D.C.  or on the radio at WPFW 89.3 FM.  This naturally talented musician, rapper, singer, songwriter and producer has a raw, edgy sound with deep soul roots perfect for a long drive with the windows down and the stereo turned up.
Zeke’s debut album Ten Seventeen drops on 10/17/13. The album named for the mysterious occurrence of the number sequence 1, 0, 1 and 7 throughout his nick1life.  Ten Seventeen is an eclectic mix of Hip Hop, R&B and spoken word sprinkled with guest appearances from local artist. You can purchase the album on www.Bandcamp.com.
