Tavon Mason loves the kids Foundation
Tavon is a Baltimore native; he graduated from Woodlawn High and the University of Virginia. Tavon was also blessed to be draft as a Wide Receiver for the New York Jet.
As a kid, Tavon always wanted to own his own rec center to help children stay active. So after football he started, Tavon Mason loves the kids Foundation in 2010 –which focus on health, fitness, and education. Still not knowing exactly what main focus he wanted the foundation to take… Tavon continued on; visiting hospital and schools. Then in 2012, while visiting one of the local elementary schools, Tavon had the privilege of meeting a 5th grader that will give him insight on just what was needed in the community. This young child had a body weight of an adult and Tavon felt compelled to educate the children as well as the parents about the importance of eating healthy and staying active. He incorporated countless number of Fit Day programs and seminars to further his mission to help fight childhood obesity.
